Original NewYork Classic Apple Pie. A wonderful add on to a cold winter day, just in time for the holidays. Highly reccomened to enjoy with a cup of tea and a scope of vanilla bean ice-cream
Make filling by mixing sliced apples, sugar, and 1 cup of water in a sauce pan.
Continue mixing till sugar is completly melted.
Set up pre-made pie crust on to pan, lightly toast in 200 degress for 5 minutes
After the crust has been pre-cooked, pour apple filling into pie crust pan. Place secondary pie crust on top to cover.
Take a knife or a fork to add holes on top to allow air flow during cooking to prevent pie from bursting
Use egg wask and lightly brush on top of pie crust to make a shine finish during cooking process to make a shine finish.
Once ready, place pie into oven (set to 300 degrees) for 1 hour.
After baking let pie cool outside of oven before serving.
